While our clinic may be new, our commitment to our patients, professional standards, and exceptional care is well established. Rouse Hill Radiology is run by medical imaging experts and is ideally positioned to provide specialist services and outstanding care to the local community.

General X-Ray

X-Rays are one of the simplest forms of medical imaging that you might need. They use a form of radiation to penetrate through the body to create two-dimensional images of the body's bones and  soft tissues and assist in diagnosing conditions or diseases.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound  is used in a wide variety of diagnostic situations, and we perform a complete range of ultrasound examinations, including musculoskeletal, general, soft tissue, vascular, abdominal and obstetrics and gynaecology. We also have a highly skilled radiologist on-site to perform interventional injections, aspirations and biopsies under ultrasound guidance.

CT or CAT Scan

CT scan or CAT scan is short for Computerised Tomography; it uses low dose radiation to produced high resolution cross-section images of the body. It is used to diagnose and monitor a wide variety of medical conditions. To highlight the blood vessels and blood supply on the images, an intravenous injection of the contrast media is sometimes required as part of your examination Outside of that, CT scans are fast and painless.

MRI

An MRI is a medical imaging procedure that uses powerful magnets and radio waves to provide very high resolution cross-sectional images. It offers different information about internal structures than an X-Ray, Ultrasound or CT Scan. There is no radiation used and no known side effects of exposure to magnetic fields.

Orthopantomogram (OPG)

CT scan or CAT scan is short for Computerised Tomography; it uses low dose radiation to produced high resolution cross-section images of the body. It is used to diagnose and monitor a wide variety of medical conditions. To highlight the blood vessels and blood supply on the images, an intravenous injection of the contrast media is sometimes required as part of your examination Outside of that, CT scans are fast and painless.
